"So where are you from?"

Well... I was born in a seaside city in northeastern China (Yantai), moved to New York City (Queens) as a kid, but grew up mostly in San Francisco, California. I moved to San Diego for college, studied abroad in Spain (Barcelona) and China (Shanghai), moved to Korea (Seoul) after graduation and spent the winters in Taiwan (Taipei). I've worked as a model manager, business development consultant, salesperson, maid, farmhand, scuba ranger, Airbnb host... I am currently a software engineer / digital nomad based in SF & plan to live that life for a while. ;)

I speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish fluently, can understand French and Cantonese, & am learning German. I love to travel, explore, get into trouble, eat amazing food, meet unique people, and have a great time!

My goal is to always have visited more countries than my age. Some people are anxious to explore space and extraterrestrial life, but I am more excited to explore the world and the humans that make it amazing.
